You guys are all going to be shocked when I say this, but I really like Louie, the new Louie C.K. show on FX. I know. Insane, right?  I am a person who does comedy things and watches TV all the time, so it’s ultra weird that I find this show appealing. What are the odds? Oh, wait. I’m so sorry. I just realized that I didn’t tell you to sit down before I said all this. That was very inconsiderate of me. Now you’ve shock-fainted and hit your head right on one of the legs of your wheely desk chair. And honestly, I don’t mean to laugh at your right now. I do feel really bad about your head. But you should have seen the look on your face when I said I liked the Louie C.K. show. You had a VERY surprised look on your face, and it’s making me laugh at you now even though you’re a little bit injured. Filed under: Recaps, TV ReplayTonight's episode of 'Louie' (11PM ET on FX) bounces back from last week's funny but strange trip down south, as Louis C.K. continues to show viewers how intertwined his life and his stand-up act really are. The second story, where Louie reluctantly acts in a Matthew Broderick remake of 'The Godfather,' had its funny moments, especially his pained interactions with Broderick. But the essence of Louie's life is stand-up, and nothing ruins a stand-up's day like someone talking through his or her act. Louie doesn't just talk down the rude woman who chimes in during his act, he lays waste to her, in his very deadpan Louis C.K. way. "Can you do me a favor? Can you please just die of AIDS?" was one of the cleaner retorts. He also said that she was a "c--- who came from your mother's c---." If this were any other show, the story would end there, as yet another abject lesson in why you should never, ever try to out-funny a stand-up during his show. But the "one who looks like a Fox News anchor" decided to confront Louie outside the club, and that's where he very calmly gave her the reason why stand-ups hate hecklers so much. Daniel made his Broadway debut in the controversial Equus in 2008, in which he stripped down to his birthday suit for the role, and now he will debut his vocal chops as J. Pierrepont Finch, a young man on the fast track to success after getting promoted from the mailroom to the vice president's office. Directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award-winner Rob Ashford, the musical opens at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Sunday March 27, 2011, with previews beginning Saturday, February 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale exclusively to American Express cardholders Tuesday, July 13, at 12:01a.m., at Telecharge.com. There's also a real possibility that a third Sex and the City film will materialize. But let's face it: at some point, the four actresses best known for SATC will have to move on to other things. Of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, who has the best chance of coming out from under the Sex-y shadow of her famous character? Our bet is on Cynthia Nixon. Prior to her role as type-A lawyer Miranda, Nixon was best known for her stage work. She achieved recognition very young, making her Broadway debut at age 12 and appearing in two hit Broadway shows simultaneously (she ran between theaters during performances!) when she was a college freshman. Like many theater actors, Nixon was often relegated to small character roles in movies and TV shows (although she scored one juicy role as a teenager, starring opposite Matthew Broderick in Manhattan Project). Heading overseas for more promotional duties, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted arriving in London, England today (May 26). The âFailure to Launchâ babe looked to be in good spirits as she made her exit from the airport terminal to find plenty of paparazzi waiting for her. The Sex and the City 2 gang was out in full force last night in NYC for the first premiere of their film before Thursday's London event. The evening was all about the Big Apple and, of course, the four main ladies and their amazing fashion - Sarah Jessica Parker was in a bright yellow Valentino couture gown with her husband Matthew Broderick by her side, while a similarly neon-wearing Kristin Davis picked a Jean Desses number. Cynthia Nixon opted for black strapless Carolina Herrera, and Kim Cattrall was in a sparkly Naeem Khan. SJP spent a long time signing autographs for the impressive amount of fans gathered at Radio City Music Hall before heading to the blue carpet. Kristin, meanwhile, opened up about reuniting with her costars in the film, saying it was great fun and that she and SJP actually talk all the time! Willie Garson, aka Stanford Blatch, echoed the sentiment - he told us that he and Sarah Jessica talk on the phone practically every day. His and Mario Cantone's characters tie the knot early on in the movie, and Mario said the whole set was infused with lots of love and happiness with their all being back together. John Corbett looked handsome as ever all suited up, and his longtime love Bo Derek hung behind the reporters just smiling and supporting her man. He said that, despite his SATC fame, he's still able to walk down the street like a regular guy - he and Bo, though, are planning on spending the Summer away from the crowds and off riding horses at their ranch. Chris Noth made it a date night too, with his fiance Tara Wilson scooting into the theater before the crowds got too thick. Jason Lewis has a brief cameo in the project, and he spoke about being grateful to be included again. He doesn't feel threatened by Samantha's new love interests played by male model Noah Mills and the actor Max Ryan. Noah said that his impressive abs were probably a factor in getting the job, while Max Ryan said he was a little nervous about his required sex scene.
