Even better: they may let us watch! On Thursday's Live! with Regis and Kelly, the Bachelorette and her winning man said that they were considering a televised ceremony. "We've talked about it a little bit," Fedotowsky admitted when asked. "Definitely a possibility." But the former Facebook executive promises that it's "not because we want to be on TV again." She makes the case that having a televised wedding would be -- well, practical. "Weddings are expensive and he has a huge family," Fedotowsky explained, referring to fiance Martinez. "When I met his mom, she said 700 people will be at it! We figure we are in love. We can invest that money [that would be spent on the wedding] and invest our whole lives." When the 2010 Emmy nominations are announced on Thursday morning, a certain Facebook group will be paying close attention to the category, Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality - Competition Program.That group? The Campaign for a 2010 Emmy Nomination (and Win) for Cat Deeley. The perky host of Fox'sSo You Think You Can Dance (Wednesday, 8 p.m. ET) has never scored an Emmy nod, and, dang it, this 245-member Facebook group would like to see that rectified! Honestly, I find this perplexing. The first time I tuned into SYTYCD, I was downright confused by this apparent lingerie model who was welcoming me to the show. Who was this Cat Deeley person? Was she a famous dancer I didn't know about? A former famous dancer? What was her connection here? (After all, Ryan Seacrest presumably landed his American Idol gig based on his pop music DJ background.) And why the British accent? Was SYTYCD a British show first—and they brought over their host for the American version? All these questions ran through my head. Actually, Deeley is simply a photogenic hostess (who happens to be British), hired to chat with the contestants between the show's dancing bits. The 33-year-old Brit began her career as a model, then switched to "hosting" and "presenting" on British TV shows. In 2006, she moved to Hollywood and took up the SYTYCD hosting gig. Outside of the show, she's still practically unknown in the U.S.—though she has subbed for Meredith Vierra on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and for Kelly Ripa on Live With Regis and Kelly.
