The Texas native, who's married to former NFL star Jason Sehorn, tells the Dallas Morning News, "We just had another baby and I've got three little girls now. So my husband and I were going to move out of Los Angeles and go somewhere in the South, where I can raise some strong Southern women with morals, ethics and values." Getting sucked into working on "Rizzoli & Isles," Miss Harmon tells of changing her mind for the time being, "I can save retirement for another day. But once we finish shooting this first season, sometime in August, we're definitely going to move, for the kids." As for her new show, "Rizzoli & Isles" premieres tonight (July 12) at 10 ET/PT on TNT - with the series being based on the popular Tess Gerritsen crime thriller series of the same name. "Show, don't tell" is a maxim that every screenwriter and novelist learns early in their careers; Tess Gerritsen -- on whose books this show is based -- and Janet Tamaro have followed this maxim almost to the point where there's no exposition at all. And, while the concept behind the show -- a cop and a coroner who are polar opposites but are best friends and a crack crime solving team -- isn't revolutionary by any means, the show's leads, Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, make it work by so thoroughly inhabiting their characters. Before you know it, the summer will be upon us. For viewers, this is both bad and good news. The bad: The major networks resort to schedules filled with reality programming. The good: The cable networks rev up their schedules with original scripted programming. By the time July rolls around, AMC, FX, TNT and USA will be chock full of fan favorites. For TNT, that means a new season of 'The Closer.' The network has just announced that season 6 will premiere on Mon., Jul. 12 at 9PM. Joining 'The Closer' on that evening will be the new drama 'Rizzoli & Isles.' Based on a series of Tess Gerritsen's novels, the show casts Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander as a Boston detective and medical examiner, respectively, who team up to solve cases. The series also stars Lorraine Bracco as Harmon's mother. TNT has always excelled with shows featuring strong female leads. As long as the acting and writing is up to par on 'Rizzoli & Isles' it should have a long life on the network. When it premiered in 2007, "Chuck" was heralded as one of the most inventive shows to work its way onto network television in years. And while it has more than lived up to the promise the pilot made (if not surpassed it) every single May fans have found themselves wondering if another season was in the cards. While it's been a bone of contention for us, the constant questioning has impacted the cast even harder. As the show nears its third season finale, star Ryan McPartlin is flummoxed by the fact that history is repeating itself -- again. But it sounds like "Chuck" has a secret weapon in its spy-dramedy arsenal: they're packing so many cliffhangers into the season finale, fans will straight up riot if NBC doesn't greenlight a fourth year. PopWrap: "Chuck" finally returns next week after a brief hibernation, how much Awesome is in this next batch? Ryan McPartlin: Well, all six of them are really awesome, big episodes. But there’s a lot going on for Awesome and Ellie too. I can’t give much away, but I’m a lot more involved than I have been. PW: Awesome/you have gotten a lot more to do this season -- has it been nice to have some compelling, clothed moments as well? Ryan: [laughs] It has. I like being the liaison between Ellie and Chuck. Its been really creatively fulfilling. I’ve gotten to do big comedy, like with the bear, some action and have really sensitive moments. There’s not many shows an actor gets to do all those things on. PW: Any moment stand out as a particular favorite this season? Ryan: I had a lot of fun with the Angie Harmon episode. That was by far the coolest one I did. But I did have a lot of fun with that bear story too. PW: Yea, I don't know how you kept a straight face. Ryan: When you're working on a single camera show, everyone takes it very seriously. You can’t just crack up like we could on a sitcom. So there’s no better feeling as an actor to get actors to break character and hear everyone behind the scenes laughing. There’s something very rewarding to that. PW: Earlier in the season Awesome toyed with taking Ellie to Africa before changing his mind -- but I could have sworn I saw a jungle and tiger in this promo. What gives? Ryan: You might see Ellie and Awesome going to Africa. There’s some pretty cool stuff coming up. The writers and production team went all out -- the next couple of episodes really take us through to the end of the season and introduce a new element of suspense and cliffhangers. PW: So there are cliffhangers? Ryan: Yea, they had to try and match last year and I think they’ve done a good job. Hopefully they can keep one-upping themselves if we get another season. There’s a bunch of Ring stuff you’ll never see coming. Just when you think its predictable, they throw in a killer twist. PW: That's an interesting choice since "Chuck's" future is still up in the air. Do you think they did that to not give NBC an easy out? Ryan: They definitely didn't want to let people off too easily. There is a moment in the season finale when you think we’re wrapping up everything nice and neat. That’s when we pull the rug out from underneath you. PW: Are you frustrated to be back in this boat of not knowing if you'll be back for a fourth season? Ryan: Of course it's a little frustrating to be back where we were a year ago. Its not a comment on the show -- I think we're doing great work -- it’s more of a comment on the state of network TV. You can see why Conan went to cable. At the same time, NBC has been very supportive the whole time, but I think now especially they need to not look at the brand -- not the ratings -- and figure out what kind of network they want to be. I think "Chuck" would be a great cornerstone of that brand. PW: Last year "Chuck" partnered with Subway to promote the show -- I gotta know, does that mean you get free Subway for life? Ryan: [laughs] No, that would be pretty cool, right? You know, as much as Subway has capitalized on that, I think we could do more. You know how they do Mall Tours – like, I used to do them when I was on soap operas. They’d plop me down and I’d sign autographs at different Sears stores. I always felt like me, Zachary [Levi] and [Joshua] Gomez should have hopped in an RV and done a Subway tour across the country. PW: Fans would love that, just do it anyway! Ryan: Are you going to foot the gas bill? [laughs] "Chuck" airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.

TNT has some new dramatic shows on the horizon and believe it or not, they actually don't involve sexy cops or lawyers. Well, one of them does. The cable network has picked up a new science fiction series about aliens overtaking humanity starring Noah Wyle, a detective series starring Angie Harmon and (surprise!) a cop drama starring Jason Lee. The "untitled alien invasion series" (wouldn't it be a big bowl of hilariousness if that were the actual title?) will star Wyle as the leader of a band of human resisters who aspire to take back the Earth from an alien race that has laid waste to humanity. Thank goodness this Michael Phelps Corn Flakes box cover is just a prototype. Because that hand is freaking me out.
